Reading this post made me realize that I’ve never seen programming as a chore or a burden. To me, it’s always been like brushes, canyons, or colored pencils to draw on a canvas or paper.
For me, it’s always been that: a medium for self-expression. A gateway to create things and breathe life into them. Even those simple console outputs and basic calculators I made back in middle school :D, they were art to me.
Programming is art. Truly.
Some people switch or give up their tools to earn more money, and don’t get me wrong, I like money too :)), but even if I wanted to do something else, I couldn’t abandon the tools that let me manifest something artistic.
This post is for me, for programmers, and for every artist who values the human touch over the artificial.
